Egypt’s Central Bank Increases Gold Reserves

The Central Bank of Egypt has announced a 10% increase in its gold reserves, reaching 150 tons over the past six months. This growth is part of the government's strategy to strengthen its gold holdings to counter global economic uncertainties. A bank official confirmed that the increase is due to new gold purchases and local extraction from recently discovered mines in the Eastern Desert.
